We’re seeking a creative and results-driven Email Marketing & Content Creation Specialist to lead email campaigns, content marketing efforts, and recruitment initiatives for sleep research studies.
This position will work closely with Product Development, Marketing, and Research teams to drive user and participant engagement, as well as optimize communication strategies.
You’ll Get To:
- Email Marketing & CRM Management
- Develop, execute, and monitor email marketing campaigns to engage app users and recruit/retain research participants.
- Manage CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar) to track participant engagement and outreach activities.
- Create, schedule, and send weekly/monthly newsletters to drive retention and engagement.
- Implement targeted email campaigns using platforms like SendGrid, ensuring content is optimized for open rates and conversions.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, email formats, and CTAs to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze key email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, and conversions).
- Content Creation & Blog Management
- Collaborate with Product and Research teams to create content that showcases research findings and product insights.
- Write compelling copy for emails, newsletters, blog posts, and social media content.
- Manage content publishing on WordPress, optimizing SEO and user engagement.
- Conduct keyword research and monitor blog performance to improve visibility and reader retention.
- Participant Recruitment & Retention
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to recruit and retain eligible participants for sleep research studies.
- Engage with potential participants through email, phone, and social media, addressing inquiries and increasing conversions.
- Create and manage targeted social media ads (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads) to boost recruitment efforts.
- Maintain and organize participant databases in Excel and track key recruitment metrics.
- Collaborate with research coordinators to streamline participant onboarding and engagement.
- Analyze recruitment performance and optimize campaigns based on data insights and A/B testing results.
- Marketing Calendar & Cross-Channel Collaboration
- Maintain a detailed marketing calendar that tracks email campaigns, blog posts, and recruitment initiatives.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure consistent messaging across email, blog, and social media channels.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in email marketing, participant and/or user recruitment, and digital outreach (preferably in a research or health-related setting).
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or Salesforce).
- Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., SendGrid, Mailchimp) and best practices.
- Ability to design and optimize social media ads for recruitment purposes.
- Familiarity with Excel for tracking and managing databases.
- Experience managing content on WordPress and knowledge of SEO principles.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and adjust campaigns accordingly.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
